1981  
Took up ceramics and followed classes at the studio of Aliza Rachman in Port Elizabeth. Joined the East Cape Potters Association that same year. Attended numerous workshops by ceramists both local and from overseas.

198?
Joined the committee of the East Cape Potters Association. A branch of the Association of Potters of Southern Africa. (APSA). A couple of years later was elected Chairman of the East Cape Potters Association. Served in that capacity on the National Committee.

1989
Set up my own studio where I produced mainly wheel thrown ware for the monthly Craft Market.

1991
Started teaching ceramics at the Uitenhage Technical College till the end of 1997.

1998
Settled in Holland. Set up a small but well equipped studio in my 3rd floor flat and became involved in the local pottery/ ceramics scene.

2008
In August, an appointment and started teaching ceramics at the Centrum voor de Kunsten, CKB, in Bergen op Zoom. Now in an official capacity.

2012

At the end of August resigned from my teaching post at CKB/de Maagd. (De Blokstallen)

Will continue staying involved on a voluntary basis.

2015

February 2015.

Stopped my activities at CKB/De Maagd.

1989 till 2015. 26 years of facilitating/teaching.

A wonderful time to look back on.
